He Stopped to Help a Stranger in the Rain

He Fixed a Stranger's Car in the Rain Rafi had one chance. A job interview at the biggest garage in the city. Nine a.m. sharp. Then he saw her. An old woman in the rain, next to a car with a flat tire. Dozens of cars drove past. Nobody stopped. Rafi looked at his watch. Then he rolled up his sleeves. Twenty minutes later, the tire was changed. His shirt was ruined. She tried to give him money. He just smiled. Drive safe, ma'am. He arrived forty minutes late, soaking wet, with grease on his hands. The others laughed. Look at him. He won't even get through the door. The receptionist said, the owner wants to see you. Now. Behind the desk sat the old woman from the road. I don't need someone who's on time, she said. I need someone who stops. Would you have stopped? Comment STOP.
