Fishermen Found a Kangaroo 3 km Out at Sea Three kilometers from land, fishermen saw something in the water. It was a kangaroo. This really happened, in October 2026, near Port Lincoln, South Australia. The skipper, Ryan, spotted a strange shape far out in the bay. At first, nobody believed him. These waters are famous for great white sharks. And the kangaroo was exhausted. It was waterlogged, barely keeping its head up. It wouldn't last much longer. So the crew lowered the boat's sea door right down to the water. Jake reached out, grabbed the kangaroo, and pulled it on board. He held it gently and kept it calm, all the way back to shore. On the beach, the kangaroo sat for a moment. Then it hopped away, safe. Nobody knows why it swam so far. But three kilometers from land, fishermen saw something in the water.
