Watching
Are the stories free to watch?
Yes. Every story on HNK Stories is free. You do not need an account to watch.
How often do new stories come out?
Almost every day. New stories appear on this site and on our YouTube channel and social pages at the same time.
A video will not play. What can I do?
Our videos play from YouTube, so they need YouTube to be reachable on your network. Refresh the page, check your connection and try turning off strict ad or script blockers for this site. School and office networks sometimes block YouTube.
Are the stories safe for children?
Our kindness stories, cartoons and quizzes are made for the whole family. Some true stories mention war, disasters or loss in a gentle way, so we suggest parents watch those first with younger children.
Our stories
Are the true stories real?
Yes. Each one is based on a real event or person. To tell it in about a minute we simplify, shorten and dramatize some moments and dialogue. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will correct it.
Are the videos made with AI?
We write and edit every story ourselves. The pictures, animation and narration are made with AI-assisted tools, and we label this where platforms ask for it.
Can I suggest a story?
Please do. Send your idea through the contact page. We read every message, though we cannot promise to make every story.
Can I show the stories in a classroom or share them?
Yes, you are welcome to share links and to show the videos in classrooms, homes and community groups straight from this site or YouTube. Please do not download, re-upload, edit or sell them. For any other use, ask us first.
Accounts and comments
Why would I create an account?
Only to comment on stories and, if you choose, to get an email when new stories come out. Watching never requires an account.
How do I sign in?
Use your email and a password, or continue with Google. Sign-in is handled securely by Google Firebase; we never see your password.
What are the comment rules?
Be kind and stay on topic. Comments can be up to 600 characters, links are not allowed and there is a daily limit per person. We remove comments that are rude, hateful, spam or that share personal details.
How do I stop the new-story emails?
Open your profile and switch new-story emails off at any time.
How do I delete my account?
Open your profile and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your profile and all of your comments.
